    The White Cottage

    Jean now lives in Burgess Hill, but used to live at No.82 Nutley Lane in what is known as 'The White Cottage' which belonged to her Auntie, Ada Powell. She recalls playing in Gasworks Alley which used to run down the back of the houses.
